What model outboar do I have? Maintenance guide?

Hi there!

I have an 8HP Yamaha outboard and the time has come to do a service on it. I'd like to do it at home and am capable of working around an engine. But trying to figure out what model it is so I can get a service manual online and I've got a bit stuck.

Had a look around the forums to decipher the codes but have had no luck. Most suggest that "H" in the lower right hand side of the sticker is the year but that would suggest this is a 1987, which seems a bit old.

Included are two photos so hopefully someone can help me out.

Also, if you know a good place I can get a service manual please let me know.

The model number is 8MCH but we don't have any information on models outside the USA and not sure if a US model would be same to get manuals and parts or not.
