Can somebody tell me where the thermastat is located on my 1998 25hp 2 stroke? If possible a picture of the loacation would be great and are there any other parts needed to replace it. Mine is stuck open because the motor never warms up, when I feel the water flow coming out its the temp of the lake water. I sure would appreciate the Help, I think I have an idea where it is but don't want to mess with something unless I'm sure or is this something only a mechanic should work on.
