LCD speedo wiring?

Hi. Just installing my F90-04, and got new digital gauges (with the corresponding harnesses) for it. The tach is no problem, just followed the color coding and it works fine. The speedo, however, leaves me with three orphaned wires, black and red male, and a white female. I thought these guys were for the fuel sender (which I am not using) but the whole gauge is pitch black. Where should one or more of these wires go?

The red wire is 12 volt power lead it connects the red in gauge harness(multi connector harness that connects to key switch or control box), the black is the ground lead and also connects to black on gauge harness. The white wire is fuel sender and connects to pink wire that connects to fuel sender.
