f60 seems to flood after idiling for couple of minutes

my f60aet (2002) has got a new anoying problem. it will start up fine and tick over no problem, then after a few minutes it starts to lose revs and stops. it then wont start unless you give it some revs(like its flooded). i did think it might be the prime start but thay seem to be ok and once its running and the rev are up it proforms very well and i have no loss of power until you leave it at idie for a couple of minutes.
i also took the plugs out and thay are black and wet so i replaced them but its still doing the same
any ideas

Hi there
when you say rebuild, I take it you mean new jets ,gaskets and so on???
I have stripped it and cleaned and reassembled then valences up and it's still messing around at low rpm. I guess I better start saving some pennys for winter TLC
