fuel pump fuse

Good day, '02 z200txra hpdi continues to blow the 20 amp fuse that runs the fuel pump. The motor stalled as i left my slip. My hpdis never stall. Turned the key and the motor immediately fired up. Ran flawlessly for a few hours. At idle, on drift, the same motor stalled. Would not start. I was told I had a bad fuel pump inside the vst can. The entire vst can was replaced with a spare I had. The boat ran for 12 or so minutes before the the 20 amp fuse blew. I replaced the fuel pump. Again, the fuse blew. Not the culprit. Any thoughts are appreciated. Art

If the replacement pump wasn't a new fuel pump then pump may be dragging , drawing too much current and need to be replaced.

hpdi fuse issue

long story short. a bad plug wire was causing that fuse to blow
