Yamaha year

Hello everyone. I'm sure you've been asked this question before by new Yamaha users, hopefully someone can advise me.

I'm trying to find out the year of my Yamaha 90HP 2-stroke outboard. I have looked for some numbers on the engine, here's what I've found:

90AETO 6H1 L 500273 U

Can anyone enlighten me, please? Many thanks in anticipation.

We only have information on models sold here in USA, not sure what year it is.
