Power tilt problem

On the side of my 40hp there is what looks to be a valve to manually tilt the motor up. It looks like a small flat head screw but one side of it has sheared off. Can I open the allen screw on the front of the assembly to raise it or will this cause a problem. Thanks

No you would need to try to get the manual release screw unscrewed to manually tilt it.
