I have a 40 ELG / 6H4 L / Serial 415618 that need a tiller to throttle attachment cable. Per Yamaha on line parts catalog this is a 6H4-26311-03 , However this cable is very different. The current cable is held in a round gear in the tiller that resembles a small version of a rotary steering helm. It exits the bottom of the tiller via a threaded fitting. The engine attachment end apperrs to be the standard 33 style cable end. Has anybody seen this setup? Any idea of the part number of this cable. Thank you in advance.

No I'm not sure which tiller handle model it has on it, might look at tiller for a P60TLHR to see if that looks like it. -

No they did not, that tiller handle didn't come out until about mid 90's.Comment
