I am hopeful someone can help me. I have a 2010 40hp Yamaha 4 stroke. I am installing a faria kronos trim gauge. I bought the wiring harness and plugged it into the female 4 prong connector in the engine. Ran harness to dash. hooked pink wire to S terminal, grounded the gauge and connected yellow ignition wire. Turned key on and the needle on the gauge shot to 12 o'clock and would not move. Does anyone have any suggestions?
