After running for a full hour at 3800 RPM my engine stopped running and would not start. It had fuel into the float chamber, oil in the engine resovoir and was not overheated. After a 2 hr tow I put it back on my trailer and waited till the next day to trouble shoot it. I put it back in the water and turned it on and it started and ran with no problem. I ran it at 3800 RPM for 20 minutes with no problem. I'm leary of going any distance to avoid another tow. Any suggestions as to the cause of my trouble?

did it have spark to any cylinders?

probably have some front end wiring issue, keyswitch etc

you said it wouldnt start, did it turn over ??
