fading, faded, gone

My digital tach went out last year and now my speed/fuel is finally giving up the ghost too . Do I have any recourse in trying to fix this our Im I going to have break open my daughter's piggy bank and buy new ones. I have a 98 130hp 2 stroke saltwater series on a Scout 18.5. If I do have to get new ones I wouldn't think I need to replace the whole wiring harness just take out old gauges and plug in new ones.......Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know of any way to repair them. If you use 6Y5-8350T-82-00 digital tach then your wiring will work with it.
