91 Yamaha 150 TXRP 2 stroke Oil Replinish Question

I have a 91 2stroke 150 yamaha O/B. Does anyone know if the 2 1/2 gallon reserve tank pump, should pump oil automatically while cruising along. I can work it manually by the switch located on the engine, which takes forever but this makes life complicated... Any answers are greatly appreciated

Yes the oil transfer pump in remote oil tank should keep engine oil tank supplied with oil. Need to test oil level sensor in engine oil tank probably has a bad switch switch in sensor.

Thanks I'm gonna check that one out, it's been a pain in the ass to keep filling up by hand... Greatly Appreciated

may need to clean tank and change filter in tank if it takes a long time to fill
