I have an 04 F40TLRC , That has been running erratic. Spark,mecanical timing,Carbs cleaned, compression & valve lash okay.#3 cyl not firing & vacumn reading pulsates. I'm suspecting the pulsar coil,can this be tested with a Fluke digital VOM? Can the electronics cause this engine to fire off cycle?
PS, no vacumn leaks detected. Update: found engine running 10* retarded @ idle. Is timing adjustable?
