2008 Yam 6 hp - 12 volt connection

I have a 2008 Yamaha 6hp 4-stroke, which should be equipped with a 12V - 6A alternator / lighting coil. Is it possible to make a connection for a lightbulb? (it's actually an anchor light 12V). Thanks!

You would have to install a voltage regulator and a battery to operate nav lights in boat, regulator is number 38 on this link Yamaha Outboard Parts 2006 and Later 4-stroke F6MLH 60N-1005231 OPTIONAL PARTS 1 Diagram
