Yama 115CETO Miss Fire
Hi All
I have a 115CETO motor 2 stroke.(Australian/South African model).
It misses from idle through to 2500 RPM. After that, goes almost perfectly up to 6300 RPM, where the rev limiter comes in.
Plugs are brand new (same on old plugs) and the carbs have been cleaned. Replaced fuel.
When cold, it accelerates very slowly with plenty of splutter to 1200 RPM and sometimes cuts out. Seems to accelerate better if the motor has warmed up acceleration beyond 1200 RPM.
I suspect low speed coil / CDI.
Does anyone have expected resistances of coils?
Test procedures for coils under flywheel, CDI and HT Coils?
(expected resistances, etc)
Any one have a schematic?
