lean sneeze and oily spark plugs

my 40 horse power yamaha 2stroke runs great at high to mid range but at idle it sneezes and most of the time shut off.could this be a mixture problem? any help would be great......:

give the carbs a clean most likely dirty jets also check fuel pump diaphram for holes

Let me know if you got your issue resolved. I had the same and finally figured it out.
