Starting Problems...

This one really got me buffled when the boat is sitting in the backyard, it starts with no problems. Once I drive to the boat ramp, or just around the block, the motor will only start with much difficulty (almost draining the battery!) The motor is a Salt Water Series 200 hp...anyone with this similar problem...any ideas out there...thank

Check compression, clean carbs, check choke system and check spark.
