offset tiller

My Yamaha F40LA with a tiller handle is almost too straight. I have to sit on the bench seat right up against the gunnel to operate properly. Most of the tiller handles I have used are offset to the port side so I could sit on the starboard slde and operate the tiller with my left hand. Is there an offset shim available to direct the Yamaha tiller handle to the port side of center?

Yamaha doesn't offer an offset and not sure if any aftermarket company makes one.
