Runs rough when tilted

I have twin 1997 Yamaha T50 4-strokes. When I tilt the starboard engine up, and then later return it to the running position, is runs rough for several minutes and smokes more than usual.
The port engine doesn’t exhibit this problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.

It might be in the carbs possible float height too high or float valve not seating properly.
