Syncing carbs on a 40 hp

I put carb kits on a 40 hp, and its running great but has an intermitting chirp at idle. I was told that passages in the carbs could still be blocked. I sprayed the carbs with sea foam and blew out with air. The carbs, I feel are clear. I was also told that carbs could be out of sync or that there may be a leak of air on intake. My question is can I sync the carbs or do I have to take this motor to the doctor. Also how can I ckeck for the air intake leak. Thanks,

You back off the idle adjustment screw on middle carb to close throttle plates completely and loosen the linkage screws on each carb so all plates are closed, tighten screws and reset idle rpm's.
