Please help with wiring problem....

Have just purchased a 16' Carolina Skiff with a 2004 Yamaha 25 hp 4-stroke outboard. Also recieved a DIGITAL tachometer, but was not installed on boat, was given this as a gift, used. I went today and purchased the part, Yamaha part #68F-82553-50-00 from our local Yamaha dealer. Now I am stumped as to where the said wiring harness connects on motor end, connects on tachometer; but cant figure out motor end. Can you please assist?
**As an added note, was told to let you know this is a multi-function gauge.**

If you have a F25 model then it doesn't have the gauge harness connectors on engine (it doesn't have a trim sender on bracket), it was not set up for the Multifunction gauges.
If you have a T25 model then the two connectors should be in bottm engine cowling next to 10 pin main harness.
