Hi,
Whilst bringing the boat in the driver (not me!!!) manged to hit a rock, very light damage to the prop. Took the boat back out after this had happened and the engine ran ok, but once out of the water with the engine off, I put the engine in forward gear and span the prop, it spins freely and it clicked with the turn but it doesn't turn the engine over, when put in reverse and turned in reverse the gears turn the engine cylinders.
Is there a shear pin? or could the clutch dog or the gears be sheared??
Basically is it knackered??
Hopefully this makes some sense!!!
