gear lever problem

My Yam 5 Hp, 2 strokes, 1997, went down by gear lever side.
Now the situation is: I hardly can get in the forward gear and impossible the reverse,
What should I do?.

Probably has bent or broken shift linkage, check all linkage from shift lever to gearcase.
