I am new to the forum so please excuse errors.
I recently purchased a boat with a 1995 yammy 60 on it with only 30 hours on it. The seller has had it stuck ion the back yard unused for years but says he ran it a couple of times a year. The motor looks like it has just been taken from the shipping crate.
The motor runs well particularly above 2000 rpm but is seems to cough and splutter a bit between 500rpm and 1500 rpm. I have run some carb cleaner through it mixed with the petrol but it hasnt made much difference. I was wondering if they dont have a perfect idle/ slow speed and Im expecting too much?
