Another 06 300 hpdi wiring question!

Converting from a 300 merc to a yamaha. I have everything wired up
and all is good. I used the single pink wire for my trim guage. It works but it's way off. Does any know what the resistance values are for this trim guage in my Gambler? I can prolly modify the resistance and get the guage calaibrated but I need a starting point. Hopefully knows what exactly I need to do.

Also what is the extra red wire for on the pigtail with tach wires? It appears to be hot all the time.

Make sure you connected to the pink wire at trim sender on motor, not pink wire in 10 pin main harness between engine and key switch. The red wire on switch is for Yamaha digital speedometer.
