One of my engines will run only if I squeeze the bulb. It ran fine until I ran one tank dry. I switched tanks and idled to the dock and the next time I used the boat the motor quit. I squeeze the bulb and everything is normal. I had my brother squeeze it so we could run a few miles and fish. Any ideas of what my problem could be? I will be changing all fuel filters and fuel lines on the motor tomorrow but wanted to see if any of you have an ah ha moment and have had this same problem. Thanks

I am looking for all options. I believe I have a pump in my tank but my other engine works fine. I also changed the fuel water separators right before all this happened. Could the one going to this engine be a colporate? I was told there are 4 fuel filters on this engine. I am going to replace them all I guess??

I have not heard of any Gradys with pumps in the tank. Go to the Grady web site and ask. Check to see if you have a restriction in the fuel line. Remove the bulb from the fuel hose on the motor side and prime it into a can. It should keep flowing freely and not loose the siphon. If it does back track to the filter and recheck the seal on the filter mount.

Nope that is your low pressure pump = feed pump it is the one on the out side of the vst They do not like being run dry or with water you might try taking it of and cleaning it with some carby cleaner and feeding some wd 40 into it might have a gut full of foreign matter in it ? that try it again .
A new one is about $ 650 the blue wire is the + but be careful i have run clean diesel through them to clean and lubricate
check no 26 on link be low
