My 85 HP Yamaha suddenly doesn`t have any power,I`ve looked at everything,but can`t find the problem,fuel consumption is terrible,it will slowly accelerate, maybe 2 mins to top revs,where do I look, please help me,even just a check list,thanks

what model motor 2 or 4 stroke
check plugs and fuel pump

Check compression. May have a ruptured diaphram in fuel pump.

check your fuel pump on the side and see if the diaphragm has a hole in it letting fuel directly into the engine .
