Ignition coil change

I have just purchased a new coil for my 2001 130Hp. What is the proceedure to replace the cap if using the old cap? Is it wise to use the old cap?

It's easier to get new boot, part number 663-82370-01-00. You have remove rubber boot from plug wire and remove wire spiral connector from plug wire by straightening wire end that pierces through plug wire.

Thanks. Found piece that contacts spark plug missing. New cap will be acquired.
