Hose nipple part # 63P-11372-00-00 for a 2004 Yamaha F150, its rusted

Looked it up on the parts diagram and I think it's part # 63P-11372-00-00
Can I take the hose off and twist this out and replace it? It looks like it's going to hit the bottom cowling. If that's the case, what are my options??

As long as it comes without breaking you should able to install a new without pulling engine, but they normally twist out ok.

See where the hose attaches on the nipple (fitting) on the left. It looks like this is going to prevent it from twisting out. Looks like its going to hit the bottom part of the cowling. Any ideas?

So I checked it again this morning. The piece fitting simply cannot spin out because the "nipple" part where the hose attaches would hit the lower cowling and prevent it from twisting out. This appears to be the water line for the fuel cooling system. I might be able to cut the nipple off, then somehow twist the fitting out. Then I would not be able to thread in the same kind of fitting that is in there now, once again due to the nipple part hitting the bottom cowling. I would need a fitting that has a straight on hose connection, where the waterline would connect perpendicular to the engine, not parallel. Any thoughts or suggestions? I already sprayed it with some corrosion block. Should I just dab some marine grease on there and leave it? I'm worried about it falling apart over time then springing a water leak.

I haven't had one out on a F150 but the other models are not threaded, they are a press in type fitting.

Why not just order one and see if it is threaded or press fit.

Or wire brush it, kill the rust with some ospho and paint.
