#2 & #5 spark plugs somtimes do not not fire (no spark) When it works it works the complete time you are out. You could turn off the ignition and it would'nt work. The mechanic for some reason always gets it when all is working.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you don't have one already go to www.Yamahapubs.com and order an owner's manual and service manual for your motor, it will have test procedures in there for testing the coils, the plug wires and the rest of the system to track down your problem. You'll also need a digital multimeter like the Fluke 88 or something similiar (made in the USA....) for testing the electrical components.

If im not mistaken, those 2 shut down at low rpm`s , maybe a tech will conform.Comment
