2009 F40

[Hook-up]

I bought meself one of these baby and gotta say it's money well spent
being new, i want to keep track of the hours it is doing
Have been looking at the multi command gauges but i cant find any info on the type that suits a F40f, Have seen a few up for sale but not knowing the right part number/s (gauge+harness) it makes it hard to be sure i'm buying the right ones,
Have email a dealer and was told that Yamaha haven't even got it up yet cause their a new motor out
do you guys have excess to the part numbers i need

You can use the 6YR-W0035-E2-00 Yamaha Multifunction digital gauge kit which will display rpm's,hour meter, trim gauge and warning lights.
If your engine a fuel injected model then can also use 6Y8-WE83S-70-00 Yamaha Command Link(square gauge) kit or 6Y8-WE83R-60-00 Yamaha Command Link(round gauge) kit which will display more engine information than Multifunction gauge.
If use Command Link kits will also need to order a main bus wire(need to know length needed to go between engine and gauge) and a pigtail bus wire(need to know length needed to go between hub at console and gauge)

I take it you call the Bus wire as to what i refer to as the harness
do they come in different lenghts or made to order ?

you got me on the last bit thou, pigtail between the "hub at console and gauge"
could you just explain it in different way for simply simon here

could you please tell me or point me where i can find out what the difference is between the the command link and the multi-function gauges
