  • 2009 F250 auxillary charging

I currently have my 2009 - F250 charging my dual batteries thru the engine setup/selector switch, set up from the manufacturer (Parker). I was told I could install a 3rd battery strictly for my windless, etc and have it charged by the auxillary charging wire that is "sitting" in the front pan of the motor. I was told the part # for this "Isolator cable" is 69J-81949-01-00 to connect this wire to my 3rd battery.

The problem is, I don't see any spare, unconnected wire or plug laying in the pan of the motor. Was I mis-informed for this year motor? Is there any way to isolate & charge my 3rd battery from the engine? Thanks

It should inside bottom cowling and will have a waterproof cap on it.
There is a new part number MAR-69JIS-0L-ED which is a 13.5ft wire with 50 amp circuit breaker.

      Hi,

Would the above connection and part # be the same for a 2003 F225?

      Thanks,

That's what I thought, but they must have saved money on mine & not put it there. There's no "loose" capped wire anywhere in the area; thought maybe they changed the 2009 models. Guess I'll have to take it to the Dealer and find out what's up. Thanks
