Yamaha F100/ fuel consumption

i have twin installations.however my fuel consumption on one of the engines are somewhat excessive.

i'm getting 1.5mpg and 3mpg on each engine.I can live with 3mpg but i think 1.5 it too excessive.

Any possible assistance in such an excessive comsumption.

With that much difference the engine should be running bad and the spark plugs fouling out. Check compression, cylinder leak down, carbs and timming.
