with lenco tabs with auto retractor it has a orange wire that goes to engie tach signal on a 2003 200 hpdi what wire would that be?

The orange lead from Lenco switch should connect to key on power wire which is the yellow wire at Yamaha key switch(if you have Yamaha gauges then may be an open yellow wire terminal at gauges). It should not connect to tach signal lead.
