New pump, still no flow

Just got a pair of 150hp txr 2006. No discharge from port engine. Did a complete annual service on both engines. Found port impeller fried and water pump housing melted. Replaced with full pump kit and seals. Put it all together still no flow up to the Pitot valve or thermostat. If i hook up to the flush port i have good flow even out of the pickup in the lowerunit. Could there be a clog between the water pump and the powerhead (pitot valve). If so how do you get to it?

Was the impeller missing parts? You might try back flushing it with the lower unit off to see if you can get water out the tube from the water pump. Also try pushing water through in the normal direction with the lower unit off to see if it flows, if it does with a water hose but not by the pump then I would double check the installation of the pump.
