I have a C85 and have torn the tilt/trim down to replace dust seals, etc. I do not see how the tilt ram comes apart. Please see the pics below...what am I missing?

The piston on end of shaft is threaded on shaft but you will need a good vise with soft jaws to remove it without damaging it. -

What is the best method of cleaning the rams, etc to ensure there are no contaminants on the parts. Is brake cleaner an option?Comment
