'87 200 exth oil con*****er problem

The system will not pump oil from main tank to aux tank on engine unless I use the manual switch on the con*****er. The guage on the dash has the yellow light stuck on, sometimes yellow and green are on dim at same time. Oil level sensor in aux tank on engine is new, level sensor in main tank tested with meter ok. Is the con*****er box bad or could there be another problem, is there a way to easily test the con*****er. I checked the harness and ground, all have good conntection and are clean... What now???

The system will not pump oil if yellow light is on it is signaling that the remote oil tank(the 3 gal. tank in boat) is too low on oil. If the oil tank is full of oil then you have a bad oil level sensor on remote oil tank or the wiring going to tank is bad.
