my engine sounds great. when I try to accelerate it moves at low speed only. when i rev the engine it makes a loud whining noise but it won't accelerate. the prop is on tight and but it won't rotate any faster. thanks in advance for any advice.

Sounds like the prop has broken loose from the rubber insert on the hub - take the prop to a prop shop and have them take a look at it.
