150 VMax idles poorly

With the help of a friend, We cleaned out the carbs on my 2003 150 Vmax.

It doesn't seems to idle to well. Pulled carbs twice to dble check but still no luck. Note: two of the brand new plugs seem darker than the others. I trust my friends know how. He just not up to speed on this models quirks. Any suggestions?

Maybe why there's fuel on top of the water while its trying to run I guess. I saw on other threads about fuel leaking into cyl. Thanks for your suggestion, I'll check that out!!

unbolt them, pump ball , if gas comes out of vac port, replace

Time and 123. Thanks for your help. pulled pumps and no fuel from back of pump. Seems to run great on the hose at home but shuts down in the water. Carb adjustment maybe?

ok seems after taking a lil extra time to tweak the carb adjustment, its doing much better, however there's still a lil sheen on the water at idle. Is this normal?
