99 200hp saltwater water pump

I want to replace the water pump on my engine however I can't remove the lower unit. There are six bolts under the flange that I've removed expecting the unit to drop. Do I need to do anything else to remove the lower unit?

There should be a seventh bolt under the trim tab (there is on my 2000 C115). You need to remove the prop and trim tab first (according to the manual). I would highly recommend getting a Yamaha shop manual for your outboard. Go to yamahapubs.com and they will deliver it to your door. The manual will pay for itself.
