Hello, seeking a little advice and know how if you could be so kind. I run a Yamaha Z300TXRD HPDI, built 11/04. I've trouble shot the issue and isolated it to the tilt/trim motor being the culprit.
My question is what is the best/easiest way to remove the T/T motor? It appears to be a 3 bolt, 2 wire motor but can only access 2 of the 3 bolts. Is it possible/best/easiest to remove the entire T/T system via the system mounting bolts thus accessing the 3rd bolt head on the T/T motor?
This motor is a beast and I'm hoping that the entire motor doesn't need to be dismounted from the jack plate.
