97 50hp High Thrust

Just noticed that on my 1997 50 hp High Thrust engines, if I grab the top of the engine, I can move the power head fore and aft about an inch a half.
Does this mean the upper bushing is bad or is it normal?

Probably the upper motor mounts are broke, the powerhead would have to be removed to get to them.

Will I do anymore damage by running it like it is for now?
Was planning on fixing it after the fishing season. Ahi season starts next month.
