Ethanol and Ring Free

I have Yamaha 150 HPDIs; I always use Sta Bil and Ring Free. Had a guy at the local boat store this morning tell me that Yamaha is recommending you NOT use Ring Free if you use gas with ethanol. I can't find anything like that on their website, in fact they recommend it. So, anyone out there heard this story?

I know alot of guys using both without issues with ethanol fuel.

I use Ringfree and Stabil Marine with 10% Ethanol fuel with no problems at all. Like Just-In-Time said, probably just BS/rumor. Good Luck!
