1993-90hp-yammy

My 90hp yammy coughs a lot when its cold outside,not as bad when it warms up.It still coughs when warm,but not as bad.What is the remedy to stop the coughing.Im thinking,Rebuild the carbs or put leaner high speed jets in the carb.Please advise. Thank You

Your motor coughing is most likely a lean fuel mixture caused by dirty carbs/plugged carb jets...time for a good cleaning/rebuild. Good Luck!
