I have a 12v motorguide wireless salt water series SW55 (55 lb thrust). I want to charge two batteries as I am running my motor. I have a 2000 60hp Yamaha. It throws 13.86v on idle.
I know you can run 2 12v batteries parallel, but can you charge two batteries hooked up parallel with the motor? Here is my "drawing".
Boat is 18 foot. From motor to first battery would be 7 foot. From battery two to the *****ing motor would be about 7 foot.
Can I charge both batteries with jumpers?
Should I just switch batteries one back to motor after it runs down?
