Stabil and ring free??

2001 F25hp Yamaha. Always use chevron gas from the marina. Ethanol anywhere from 6 to 10%. Always add ring free to fresh fuel. Installed a the mini Yamaha fuel filter. My 9 gallon fuel tank always has fuel in it. I don't use the marine stabil product except during winter storage: From November till April. Should I be adding marine stabil along with the ring free? Any benefits to the motor? Does ethanol attack plastic tanks?

You only need to use the fuel stabilizer if boat sits for longer than 3 or 4 weeks. But if you are like me I never know for sure when I will be able to use the boat again so I add it on every tank.

For a 25HP motor it could cost very little to use the Stabil Marine and Ringfree all the time, and with your fuel/water seperator you should be in great shape! You could also drain the carbs every now and then, a great preventive maintenance item. Good Luck!

StaBil Marine and Ringfree goes into my tank with each addition of gas for my 2000 60hp. No problems so far.
