2002 T8 Power Tilt failure

I have a T8 and it has given me great service. Today it failed me unable to lift the engine but would power it down. When I took the boat out there were other boats around and I started talking with the other fisherman. This is an extremely popular engine in the north west.(6) different people
gave me the same answer. They have had the same problems with their engines. It was repaired under warranty. My case no warranty. Is there a kit to repair o rings whatever for this problem? My electric side works fine.

You could replace complete trim unit with
69G-43840-01-4D Power Tilt Assy
or you can disassemble unit and replace main valve with new style which is about 30.00 in parts but your dealer will probably charge 3 hours labor.
