2002 115 HP Yamaha 4 Stroke

Was washing out engine in driveway and I tilted the engine back and it stopped running! Now I cannot get the motor to start again..... Is there a trip mechanism that may be stuck and if so can someone tell me where to look? Or give me some test to do to see what's wrong. Thanks in advance for your help. I am in deep need of some water therapy......

Check fuel system for water in fuel, drain vapor separator tank and check for water in gas.
