1997 40 hp outboard

Please help!!! I have a stalling engine 40 hp outboard (C40TLRV), only under load after several minutes. It begins to chirp and miss. Then it will stall. It restarts immediately and runs again, but stalls a minute or two later. I can restart very easily. Otherwise the motor runs great. I have no problems in idle or running it out of water.
I have already changed fuel assembly, hoses, filters and spark plugs.
It has been in the shop once, still stalling but only under load after a while, not immediately.
Please help with any ideas!!

Gas tank vent may be a thing to look at.
Leave cap cracked and see if it runs longer.

Get it to die on you, restart and then pump the fuel line bulb and keep it hard - if it does not die again, then I would suspect the fuel pump.

Also a note,
I have twin engines and the other runs fine, so I am thinking something other than fuel.
