2 stroke oil 2w=2m

I have come into posestion of 3 gallons of 2w oil and would like to use it in an out board. Why would I not do so???? Engine is a 2005 90hp.

OK but why, they are bolth semi synthetic 2 stroke oil for water cooled engines. ??? And bolth are yamaha 2 stroke oils?????? WHY?

The 2W is for Waverunners which basically has 1 speed, wide open.
The 2M is TCW-3 certified for use in outboards.

Are you saying that wave runners and jet boats only operate at wide open or nothing?? The 2w Yamaha oil is listed on the jug as injector or pre mix 2 cycle oil??? No oil rating is listed, 2 cycle water cooled oil what would be the difference between a jet boat or jet ski and an outboard?

they simply have different lubrication properties. bottom line is will it blow your powerhead if u run it probly not, but is it really worth risking a $3500 powerhead to save $75-$80 on oil? i think not i wouldnt just my $.02
